I poll the Chaturbate affiliate API, the StripCash bulk API, and the Streamate SMLive XML feed every 2 minutes. Each poll captures room counts, viewer counts, performer tags, and geography. This page refreshes its answer on every request. No caching layer sits between the snapshot table and the rendered number.
